PINAP Cushions

The Pinap cushions, a term that means "straw," are decorative pieces developed in collaboration with artisan communities. Their colors, sizes, and unique beauty make them suitable for standalone decoration or combined with the OKEN headboard.

Their raw material is taken from the central part of the carnauba leaf. This cutting only takes place between July and December, and the resulting straw can be stored for 1 year. After sun-drying, the straw is wrapped in a damp cloth or Caetano melon to keep it pliable. Only then can it be dyed and woven by the hands of artisans.
