The OKEN Headboard features a weaving technique where the quality of the weave and the durability of the piassava straw combine to create the perfect decoration for your bedroom.

OKEN means 'to sleep,' and the headboard brings a new meaning to this weave in a structure full of quality and precision. It adds personality to the decor and pairs beautifully with our Pinap cushions.

The technique is derived from artisans in northern Brazil who seek to support their children through art. They use ALICORI and Tramada Piassava fiber, and the preparation of this material takes an average of 3 days before the dyeing and weaving process begins.
